Friends of Hell Wath
Hell Wath is a 27 acre green space situated on the south side of Ripon. Hell Wath has a fascinating history and is valued by residents and visitors alike as a recreational area and for its varied natural landscape and wildlife.
Like all green spaces on the edge of urban areas, Hell Wath’s landscape and nature is under pressure from human activities. The Friends of Hell Wath was formed to help maintain and manage Hell Wath to ensure it continues to be enjoyed by future generations.
