A New Project Partner For Hell Wath

FOHW are always on the lookout for opportunities to work with organisations that can help achieve our objectives for Hell Wath. Grassland management has been an area we have been seeking additional support for.
We are delighted to announce that our application to become part of the ‘Growing Community Connections’ project run by Plantlife UK has been successful. Plantlife is a global charity that works to protect and restore wild plants and fungi across every landscape. Their priorities are to:
Protect & Restore; Connect People With Nature; Work in Partnerships; and Collaborate & Influence.

The Growing Community Connections project will involve working with Plantlife UK and other groups to create high quality community green spaces across Yorkshire, and specifically to improve the biodiversity of Hell Wath’s grassland meadows. The project will kick off with a workshop in March 2024 with Plantlife UK and representatives from other participating sites. We will keep you updated with news as we find out more.
We are excited to have Plantlife UK join the other amazing organisations and volunteers who all work together to protect and nurture Hell Wath.
